Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information TouchUp collects when you use the platform as a client or as an artist, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

All accounts: name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password.

Artist accounts: business address, city, state, and pincode; years of experience and bio; the services you offer and their prices; and any portfolio photos you upload.

Bookings and reviews: the service, event date, and message attached to a booking request, and the rating and comment attached to a review.

We use this information to create and manage your account, connect clients with artists for bookings, send account-related emails (like signup verification codes and password resets), and display artist profiles and reviews publicly on the platform.

An artist's public profile - name, location, bio, services, pricing, and portfolio photos - is visible to everyone, since that's the purpose of the directory.

A client's contact details (email, phone, and address) are only ever shared with an artist after that artist confirms the client's booking request - never before, and never publicly. The same applies in reverse once a booking is confirmed.

Reviews display the reviewer's name and comment publicly, but never their email or phone number. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Account and booking data is stored in our Postgres database. Portfolio photos are stored with Cloudinary. Both are accessed over encrypted connections.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

You can update your profile, business details, and password at any time from your dashboard. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, email us using the address below.
